Police contacted over ‘threatening, abusive’ messages in wake of bird poisoning
Police have been contacted after “threatening and abusive” messages were posted on a West Auckland community Facebook group over poisoned birds found in the Waitākere Ranges. But on the discovery of the birds, the contact details of the council contractor who carries out possum control in the area were posted on the Parau, Cornwallis and Huia community page.
