Cooper already lost her job.
Amy Cooper went viral on Memorial Day after bird watcher Christian Cooper filmed her freaking out on him because he caught her with her dog unleashed. She called the police and told them an African-American male was threatening her and her dog.

Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance announced his office “initiated a prosecution of Amy Cooper for falsely reporting an incident in the third degree.”
Cooper faces up to a year in jail if convicted.
