Every movie and show coming to Netflix in September

Even with Netflix’s recommendation algorithm serving you new movies, new TV shows, and original programming tailored to your viewing habits, the streaming service’s fire hose of content makes what’s coming and going difficult to parse.
That’s why we break down each month’s info dump with a few recommendations for what to keep on your radar. This month, Robert Pattinson and Tom Holland star in chilling Midwestern Gothic, The Devil All The Time. Ryan Murphy’s latest series, an origin story centered around One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest’s Nurse Ratched (starring Sarah Paulson, naturally), also makes its streaming debut. Netflix tries its hand at Disney Channel spectacle with Kenny Ortega’s Julie and the Phantoms. Millie Bobby Brown fearlessly investigates a case as Sherlock Holmes’ sister in Enola Holmes. From the library, Netflix brings out the Back to the Future trilogy, Magic Mike, and one of the Muppets movies that isn’t on Disney Plus yet. And if you’ve been waiting to catch on on the final season of The Good Place, that hits later this month.
